This is Gurjas.

Food was always love. It started from my mother’s kitchen and extended into the outside world.

Studying filmmaking at London Film Academy and subsequently working as an editor,
provided ample opportunities for me to explore the visual medium.

After working as an editor for almost five years, I got hooked onto food and still life photography,
when eatstory – the wonderful blog by Neeru Singh, came into being.
It gave me an opportunity to explore and express my perception of food as art.

As a food photographer, I work in the food industry to communicate the passion 
that goes into every project. I try to focus on the natural beauty of food and objects,
the remarkable shades and distinct textures that every food presents. 
I endeavor to showcase food in a way that one can feel it vividly.
